The Nassau County Federal Credit Union was organized in May 1936 to serve select groups of employees, and their families. In April 2004, the credit union received a community charter. This charter change allows us to now serve persons who live, work, worship, attend school or volunteer in Nassau County, New York, as well as members of their immediate family or household. For the purposes of this definition, immediate family includes stepparents, stepchildren, stepsiblings and adoptive relationships. Household is defined as persons living in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit. If you satisfy any one of the preceding requirements you are eligible for membership in the credit union.
