Mammoth Freighters LLC (Mammoth), a Boeing Licensee for the Boeing 777 was founded in December of 2020 by two top cargo conversion program executives – Bill Tarpley and Bill Wagner – specifically to develop, convert, and support both models of the most productive and economical 777 long range freighters in the world. Mammoth brings a new business model to market which will provide dynamic options for global air cargo operators. In addition to offering conversions for customer owned 777s, Mammoth will also provide ready-to-fly converted freighters. Mammoth owns 10 ex-Delta 777-200LR aircraft equipped with GE90-110B1 engines and is the only company to offer an after-market converted 777-200LR freighter. Mammoth is backed by private investment funds managed by Fortress Investment Group LLC and it’s affiliates (Fortress).
