Morristown Partnership, a Special Improvement District (S.I.D.) and 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, is staffed by three employees and is governed by a 17-member Board of Trustees: 15 SID commercial property/business owners who are elected by the constituency for three-year terms, and a mayoral and Town Council representative who are appointed. Approximately 50% of its budget is derived from an assessment imposed only on commercial properties in the Morristown S.I.D. and the remainder from foundation and/or government grants, promotional participation, sponsorships for community events, and financial & in-kind donations.
