At Western Healthcare Alliance helping rural and community healthcare providers succeed is our specialty. WHA is a membership organization with programs and services to support and sustain healthcare providers in all rural communities.
WHA began in 1989 when a small group of rural Colorado hospitals decided that there was power in numbers. Today, WHA has 31 healthcare members in Colorado and Utah. Of these 30 members, 21 own Healthcare Management (HCM), a sister company of WHA, that provides revenue cycle solutions to healthcare entities. Developing and managing a menu of over 29 member-owned and partner programs, WHA saves members money that helps them remain sustainable and viable in their communities.
And that’s not all! As members embark on the journey towards alternative payment models and population health, WHA responded by forming the Community Care Alliance (CCA) in 2015, a wholly owned company of WHA. The CCA is dedicated to creating solutions that ensure quality outcomes as we shift towards a reimbursement model focused on value. Members learn and work together to coordinate care and ensure success as our medical communities are rewarded for maintaining healthy populations through better care at lower costs.
