Tidewater Publishing Corp. began as a job printing shop with three employees in Queenstown, Maryland, on August 1, 1959. Two years later, Tidewater was relocated to a fifty-acre site in Centreville, Maryland. Plant expansions followed in 1965, 1968, 1974, 1983 and 1991. A second plant was built in West Branch, Iowa in 1978 to service our Midwest customers. In 2006, Ken Boone purchased the assets of Tidewater Publishing, including the facilities, and changed the name to Tidewater Direct. The new name more accurately reflects the company’s focus on providing top-notch direct mail component production.
