About
Roesch, Inc. was founded in 1916 as a porcelain enamel contract manufacturer. At that time, Belleville was the site of about 50 stove foundries and Roesch was a supplier to many of them. During the 1920’s, Roesch manufactured coal and gas residential cooking ranges. Metal fabrication was added during the 1940’s. This addition allowed Roesch to further expand as a custom jobber to the HVAC and major cooking appliance manufacturers. The corporate offices, enamel plant, and the fabrication department are located in a 125,000 square foot plant on 9.2 acres in Belleville, Illinois. W. Robert Voges joined Roesch in 1968 as Vice President. With his experience as a Tool and Die Maker, Mr. Voges assumed responsibility for the Metal Fabrication, Purchasing, and Engineering departments. Using joint marital assets, Robert and his wife, Pauline, bought controlling interest of the business in 1974. Robert managed the Enamel Plant and Metal Fabrication operations, Purchasing, Engineering, and Sales as the President and Chief Executive Officer. Pauline managed the Office, Accounting, and Personnel as the Vice President, Corporate Secretary and the Personnel Manager.
