KFSA was incorporated under the laws of Kansas in 1947. The Association was organized primarily to provide insurance and auditing services for all types of cooperatives. The Association is owned and controlled by local cooperatives in Kansas and Colorado by a common stock investment. A board of five directors is elected by these cooperatives from specified districts to control and regulate the Association. In 1966, the auditing service was discontinued as a department of the Association and this service was assumed under individual ownership to comply with regulatory requirementsKFSA Address
