Learfield Communications was founded in 1972 as the Missouri Network, Inc., a small farm network heard over six Missouri radio stations. It has grown into a diverse media enterprise that employs 180 people and manages multimedia and marketing rights for 19 major Division I athletics programs. Learfield has two operating divisions: Sports Management, based in Plano, Texas, and News/Agriculture, based in Jefferson City. Its sports division was founded in 1975. Learfield has also recently added expertise in venue naming rights to its portfolio with the purchase of Team Services, LLC, which has represented major pro and college teams in the development and sales of their facility naming rights.Learfield Address
