Purify Fuel has developed and is launching a fuel additive based on nanotech combustion catalysis which increases fuel efficiency by 6-11% while reducing harmful Greenhouse Gas emissions by 29-57%. Our initial focus is on large off-road consumers of fuel with onsite storage, namely Military, Rail, Marine and Mining. Lab work is ongoing to refine the formula for military fuel (F-24) and a major field trial is scheduled for this summer. Fall evaluations are planned with two large mines, a barge operator and a commuter railroad. Collectively these four create a $500MM+ market segment. Nan02 was created by Purify's chemists and engine design team to improve the fuel combustion process of compression combustion (“Dieselâ€) engines. The combustion catalyst reduces the combustion temperature to cause the combustion to occur more quickly and then donates oxygen late in the process to prolong the fuel burn. This is the chemical equivalent of altering the timing of a diesel engine to burn more fuel in the combustion chamber which increases engine performance. In addition to less fuel being used, a reduction in harmful emissions occurs since less unburnt fuel is jettisoned out the tailpipe or into DPF filters. Superior engine performance, increased fuel efficiency and reduction in emissions are achieved without the need for engine modification. Houston Advanced Research Center on study demonstrated fuel savings of 5.7 to 11.2%. Mining/quarrying field evaluations validated by the Univ. of Arizona indicate fuel savings of 8.6-15.4% with soot reduction of 38%. Purify's world class team includes fuel combustion chemists, engine developers, business development professionals, and retired senior military personnel. The management team includes people from leading teams like Caterpillar, Dell, Morgan Stanley, NASA, Shell and the US Marine Corps. Purify's team has sold more than $7B of high technology solutions including more than $3B to the U.S. Federal Government.
