About
Founded in 1983, Des-Case Corporation provides industries with innovative product and service solutions to extend oil and equipment life. The original Des-Case breather is the brainchild of Jim Waller, Des-Case's founder and CEO, who first manufactured desiccant breathers for A.E. Staley. A filtration engineer by trade, Waller's entrepreneurial spirit took hold and the company opened its first manufacturing facility in Tennessee, and quickly enhanced its initial product offering. Sales growth warranted an expansion in 1997 and the company doubled its capacity. Des-Case Europe was added in 1998. Throughout the years, the company reintroduced an expanded fluid handling line under the FlowGuard brand, added hybrid breathers, and offered dozens of other adaptations of their contamination control solutions. With a growing international presence and additional product lines, the company continues to flourish. Des-Case relocated to Goodlettsville, TN (near Nashville) in 2007. The new space, with more than three times the previous manufacturing capacity, allows for increased production of standard and enhanced offerings and additional personnel to support the company's large distribution network and OEM partners. With the acquisition of AMS filtration, Des-Case now offers a complete line of specialty filtration and vacuum dehydration to our already robust line of desiccant breathers, filtration systems and Lubrication Transformation consulting and training services.
