Mr. Thomas C Lavery, founding owner of Lavery Chevrolet worked for General Motors for 17 years as a Zone Manager. In 1964, he purchased Ashley Chevrolet, a dealership on Hartshorn Street, just behind Union Ave and the United Methodist Church in Alliance, Ohio. Two years later, Mr. Lavery moved the dealership to a larger facility he built at 1096 W. State Street again in Alliance. William Lavery (Tom's son) is the current owner of the facility has continue to keep family values while keeping up with today's consumer.
