Central Boiler is a privately held American manufacturer of outdoor furnaces. Headquartered in Greenbush, Minnesota, Central Boiler is North America's largest manufacturer of outdoor furnaces with a dealership network expanding across the United States and Canada, as well as distributors in Russia and Europe. The company was founded in 1984 by owners Terri and Dennis Brazier.
Throughout its history, Central Boiler has consistently been recognized as a leader in the industry and has accumulated an impressive list of significant industry firsts:
- The Classic outdoor wood furnace was the first in the industry to be UL and CSA certified.
- The E-Classic outdoor wood furnace was the first to qualify for the EPA Outdoor Wood-fired Hydronic Heaters (OWHH) program.
- The Classic Edge was the first hydronic heater to receive a letter of certification from the EPA once new clean burning emission standards went into effect.
In addition to wood burning furnaces, Central Boiler offers furnaces that burn corn, wood pellets and other biomass fuels. The company also sells an insulated piping system called ThermoPEX, outdoor wood furnace parts and accessories, and Stryker log splitters.
