The mission of the Community Foundation is to inspire philanthropy and be a catalyst for strengthening communities throughout Monterey County. We partner with individuals, families and businesses to create charitable funds to help them realize their philanthropic vision. We have granted more than $137 million to hundreds of nonprofits in the areas of arts and culture, community and social services, health, education, animal welfare, environment, and historic preservation.
