Conflict Resolution Center (CRC) helps individuals have difficult and important discussions of all sorts. CRC provides free or low-cost conflict resolution programs and services to stabilize and empower individuals, families, and communities.
We believe that individuals of all ages and backgrounds are capable of resolving their own disputes – effectively, inexpensively, and peacefully. CRC provides, teaches, and models conflict resolution and restorative processes by utilizing trained volunteer mediators and restorative services practitioners. Conflict resolution services are provided to anyone in need; we do not turn people away based on inability to pay.
In 2020, CRC’s largest program is Housing Stability. We provide free housing mediation services to help renters (to help them avoid the damaging and long-lasting effects of eviction) and property owners (who have concerns with renters) talk with each other to help them see each other's point of view and discuss options for keeping residents housed. Other CRC services include: work with at-risk youth to divert them from the criminal justice system by providing restorative conferencing services and conflict resolution education, community mediation and conflict consulting services to families, neighbors, and small business, large group facilitations, and conflict resolution training to individuals and organizations.
CRC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We operate with a small office staff and a committed panel of trained volunteers who provide mediation and restorative services.
