Kansas Health Solutions is a managed care organization for mental health benefits only. It only serves people who have Medicaid (Kansas Medical Assistance) or MediKan (same benefits, no federal funding). KHS is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Association of Community Mental Health Centers of Kansas. The Association represents the safety net mental health clinics in Kansas – 27 of them with 100% geographic access across the state for people in need. The network of providers extends well beyond the Association members, with more than 2,600 practitioners and access in all 105 counties.
