Durr Heavy Construction, LLC is a family-owned and operated construction company specializing in demolition, site preparation and underground utility installation. Established in 1955, E.C. Durr Contractor began when Edward C. Durr, Sr. bought a single tractor and began filling residential lots for additional income to supplement his dairy business. He eventually closed his dairy farm, and for 20 years thereafter, Mr. Durr expanded his construction company by filling a large majority of the residential lots on the East Bank of Jefferson Parish.
