Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. is composed of three divisions - - Ruger Firearms, Ruger Investment Castings, and Ruger Golf. The Company was founded in 1949 by William B. Ruger and Alexander M. Sturm. It has grown steadily to become the nation's largest firearms manufacturer and a major supplier of precision investment castings in steel, titanium, and other ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, for a wide variety of industries. It is the only American firearms manufacturer that produces firearms in all four market segments - - rifles, shotguns, pistols, and revolvers. Its products have always emphasized quality and value, and the Company has taken the lead with many innovative safety programs. The Company’s firearms division motto, coined by William B.
