The Costa logo memorializes our founder, the late Manuel Costa Sr. Manny Sr. was raised in the Azores Islands where, at a young age the responsibility of providing for his mother and eight siblings fell squarely on his shoulders. The young Manny would await the pre-dawn farmers and fisherman and buy their produce, then scurry off to sell the goods to inland villagers.
