RootMetrics, an IHS Markit (NASDAQ: INFO) company, is an independent mobile network research firm that specializes in providing unbiased mobile network performance information and mapping. We are a global company that scientifically tests mobile networks to understand how consumers experience their mobile phone service in real-world situations, from making phone calls, uploading and downloading files from the internet, browsing the web and using apps, downloading email, and sending and receiving text messages. We test mobile networks at various locations and hours of the day and night, both indoors and outdoors, and while driving. We also gather network performance data that is crowdsourced from mobile users through our free CoverageMap mobile app. Based in Bellevue, WA, RootMetrics provides comprehensive and unbiased mobile network performance information to the public via our RootScore Reports, our online CoverageMap, and our CoverageMap mobile app. The end result: a better mobile experience for consumers.
