About
In 1983, Classic Accessories was founded in a small basement in Seattle's Roosevelt neighborhood when our intrepid founder, Jacob Engelstein, saw an opportunity to create automotive accessories like seat belt pads, steering wheel covers and fuzzy dice. Pretty humble beginnings. We were making all of these smaller covers when it hit us: why not make covers for the whole car? This was a big step for us as a company. Because if you can cover a car, why not a boat? Or an RV? Or even a grill? Very heady stuff.
