Forcyte Biotechnologies is putting the Focus On Force in disease. As mechanical force underlies important processes in all cells, it is a key functional component driving various diseases - (asthma, hypertension, preterm labor, intestinal dysmotility, many others). Forcyte is commercializing the (UCLA-developed) FLECS Technology Platform for high-throughput analysis of contractile cell force. We develop assays, build hardware, supply software, and perform services to functionally characterize cellular force in high-throughput, down to the single-cell level!
