Hamilton-Madison House is a historic 118-year old settlement house/multi service agency addressing the education, health and social needs of immigrant and ethnic minority communities, including but not limited to the Lower East Side, Chinatown and Two Bridges neighborhoods of Manhattan. The agency serves more than 10,000 children and adults annually with a multilingual, multi-cultural staff of 330 who speaks 15 languages including 6 Chinese dialects. Operating in 18 sites with an annual budget of $14 million, the agency provides programs that include early-childhood education, youth development services, senior services, mental health and addiction treatment services and immigrant/community services
