ICLEI Europe connects ambitious local and regional governments with other sustainable frontrunners, national governments and European institutions, as well as business, academia, and NGOs, helping to improve local – and global – sustainability. As a membership organisation, we represent local and regional governments in European and global policy processes driving a sustainable transformation benefitting our members and their citizens. We cooperate with the European Commission, the Committee of the Regions, and others to influence and shape the debate on urban sustainability policies and legislation. We also provide our members with a voice and a platform to connect with peers and the tools to drive positive environmental, economic and social change through numerous innovative projects.
