TIKTALK develops an advanced solution for the treatment of speech disorders in children and adults treated by speech therapists. The platform combines academic research with speech recognition technology, AI and deep learning, and the development of unique algorithms for identifying speech disorders and measuring deviation from normal speech. The TIKTALK platform empowers the clinician to control the healing process of patients outside the clinic. The clinician feeds the patient's personal care protocol on the platform. The platform stimulates and encourages the patient to practice at home according to the protocol through therapeutic games. The main challenge is to develop a multi-lingual speech recognition and measurement engine, which ranks the deviation from the norm, is the same as that given by experienced clinical clinicians and builds a standard therapeutic index for the field. The use of the TIKTALK platform will create qualitative and quantitative leapfrogging in the treatment of speech disorders, which will include: shortening the duration of treatment, shortening queues, making treatment accessible to patients in the periphery, reducing costs for patients, insurance companies and health organizations.
