Head Start for Kent County is a non-profit agency that provides holistic, family-centered services to low-income families in Kent County, Michigan.
Head Start for Kent County wants all children entering kindergarten with a love for learning, the ability to work with others, and a fund of knowledge that will place them at or above the expected learning level. Head Starts high quality early childhood services are provided at no cost to income eligible families and range from birth to age 5. Pre-school services are center based for the 3 & 4 year old child, while home based/home visiting services are provided for children birth to 3 and to pregnant women.
