A false story is circulating this morning stating that the City of Roseville has banned dancing; however, this is not true. In fact, dancing is allowed in the City of Roseville. And dancing is permitted in many areas of the City outside of the entertainment districts. Dancers are NOT being cited or ticketed for dancing. Owners of establishments operating illegally would be cited. The story stems from a zoning case begun in 2008, in which the City's stance was upheld in court.
