In 1999, NIC Idaho (previously known as Idaho Information Consortium) won a competitive RFP bid with the state of Idaho to manage the state’s web portal, Access Idaho. Today, Access Idaho builds online government services and provides secure payment processing on behalf of agencies, counties, cities, school districts, water/sewer districts, etc. in the Gem State. Our solutions use technology to simplify time-consuming processes, increase efficiencies, and reduce costs for government as well as the citizens and businesses they serve.
Access Idaho operates under a self-funded model, in which no tax dollars are used to develop and maintain services. Located in downtown Boise, Access Idaho has 14 employees who live, work, and play in Idaho.
NIC Idaho is a subsidiary of NIC (NASDAQ: EGOV), the nation's leading provider of eGovernment websites, mobile solutions and secure payment processing.
