Dream Face Technologies, LLC, is a recently founded Denver-based spin-off from the Computer Vision and Robotics Lab (CVRL) at the University of Denver (DU). The company was incorporated in 2014 by Dr. Mahoor, the director of the CVRL Lab and an Associate professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at DU. The aim of the company is to further develop and commercialize innovative social robotic and computer vision technologies demonstrated at Dr. Mahoor’s research Lab. Dream Face Technologies, LLC is currently focused on development of intelligent perceptive computer algorithms that are used for affective computing, human behavior recognition, facial emotion/expression recognition with applications in socially assistive robotics and virtual human toolkits.
