Manufacturing and Research, Inc (MRI Medical) was founded in 1986 and quickly became the world leader in the manufacturing and development of silicone catheters. MRI Medical was founded by Robert Kelliher, who was the first to use liquid silicone in the fabrication of ballooned catheters. The first line of products by MRI included Foley catheters, gastrostomy tubes and temperature sensing Foley catheters. Today we produce medical products on an OEM basis for major medical companies and we develop solutions for start up and emerging medical technology companies to help bring exciting new technologies to market. Our customers include major health care companies, start ups, and medical device companies. We produce products for urology, cardiology, hemodialysis, anesthesiology, radiology, pediatrics, oncology and more.
