Our Pinot Noir-driven sparkling and still wines are a direct reflection of our two unique estates – nestled at the base of the Sonoma Mountains and Wildcat Peak, respectively – which protect us from the strongest Carneros breezes and supply alluvial soils that nourish our Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines. Our terroir is exceptional and distinctive – it’s defined by the bay breeze, the soft hillside air, the bright sunshine, and the cooling fog.
The genetic diversity of our vines is the foundation for our unique blends that come together to make our remarkable wines. As we like to say, our careful vineyard practices allow us to capture the essence of our site in every bottle, and our thoughtful winemaking practices ensure that we do.
Today, Gloria Ferrer is a highly awarded winery with over 500 gold medals and fifty 90+ ratings. We have 335 acres under vine, including the Circle Bar Ranch, a historic property just south of our main estate.
We are committed to human and environmental sustainability, continuously working to improve and update our practices to protect the land for generations to come. Gloria Ferrer has been certified sustainable by the California Sustainable Winegrowers Alliance since 2016.
