School of Built Environment researchers are leading the way in their areas of specialisation. We use our expertise to create our contemporary and industry-relevant study programmes.\n\nResearch Goals:\nResearch is at the heart of the School of Built Environment, with an impressive record of collaborations with other academics and practitioners. Three key research areas encapsulate our researchers specialisation: smart construction, project management and environmental sustainability.\nWe have on-going funded projects which deliver impactful outcomes to the construction and other industries. These continue to build our reputation nationally and internationally.\n\nTeaching Goals:\nMassey leads university education in construction management and quantity surveying in New Zealand. We offer the only bachelor’s degrees in both majors by a New Zealand university and our master’s degree offers the most diversified specialisations.
