School of Built Environment researchers are leading the way in their areas of specialisation. We use our expertise to create our contemporary and industry-relevant study programmes.\n\nResearch Goals:\nResearch is at the heart of the School of Built Environment, with an impressive record of collaborations with other academics and practitioners. Three key research areas encapsulate our researchers specialisation: smart construction, project management and environmental sustainability.\nWe have on-going funded projects which deliver impactful outcomes to the construction and other industries. These continue to build our reputation nationally and internationally.\n\nTeaching Goals:\nMassey leads university education in construction management and quantity surveying in New Zealand. We offer the only bachelor’s degrees in both majors by a New Zealand university and our master’s degree offers the most diversified specialisations. All programmes are contemporary and tailored to fit industry needs.\n\nOur students get to work with world class academics complemented by industry input across all levels of study.
