We require that all of our purchased cattle meet the USDA AMS Country of Origin requirements, and that carcasses are transported in a manner to meet the USDA FSIS Notice 06-10 regulations concerning Humane Handling. The company uses a variety of methods for purchasing livestock to include live weight, dressed rail bid or a classical rail bid based on carcass yield and quality traits. The FPL Food harvest facility receives cattle Sunday evening thru Friday morning during normal work week.
