Causley Trucking, Inc., formerly Causley Trucking Company, was founded by Harold Causley in 1941. Harold began by transporting fertilizer and farm products for the Wallace and Morley Company of Bay Port, Michigan. Harold was dispatched by his father-in-law, John Crosby, manager of the Wallace and Morley Company elevator, located in Bradleyville, Michigan. In 1951, Harold acquired his first U.S. Mail contract, transporting U.S. Mail from the Bay City train depot to Rogers City, Michigan. He expanded his operations in 1964 with a new postal contract hauling mail from Detroit to Mackinaw City. In 1971, he once again expanded operations to haul mail from Detroit to Washington D.C. Because of this growth and expansion, Causley Trucking Company was incorporated and renamed Causley Trucking, Inc., in 1979.
