Detector Inspector is a specialised company that is dedicated to the annual servicing and maintenance of smoke detectors for your safety. We compliment our servicing with the installation of new detectors and the replacement of faulty detectors or detectors with expired guarantees. Detector Inspector was first established in early 2005 following a negligence claim against a real estate agent. A tenant was injured in a house fire and sued on grounds that the property lacked operational smoke detectors and consequently was not properly maintained. The agent was in breach of their duty of care and ended up settling. Our commitment is to provide a professional, hassle free service, that is structured with the occupant's safety as our number one goal, while protecting managing agents and landlords from possible litigation.
