Kara Connect is a telehealth office platform that links therapists, healthcare specialists, and educators with patients in a seamless and secure way. We are at the forefront of mental health accessibility. Founded in 2014, our platform of healthcare experts revolutionises the way professional services in health care, education, and social services provide for people in need of counselling and therapy. We started with a simple concept inspired by the needs of the remote areas of Iceland. People didn't easily have access to healthcare and special education support that was available in the city. So, we decided to build a platform for healthcare specialists to run their business - worldwide. KaraPros now rely on us as a partner: the Kara platform helps support their work, from delivery to booking to payments. Today therapist in Kara have delivered almost 15.000+ online sessions. Healthcare is no longer a commodity reserved for those who can afford the high costs of transportation and therapists' office services. In an increasingly digitalised world, we can use digital tools to help both therapists themselves, and inherently patients - as an increase in accessibility, increases the likelihood of people getting the relevant mental health support they desire.
