Since 1970, Yolo Food Bank has been working to end hunger and malnutrition in Yolo County. Yolo Food Bank coordinates the storage and distribution of food from a network of growers, manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and grocery stores, while cultivating new sources of food. Yolo Food Bank collaborates with non-profit programs, private and public sector agencies, and service organizations throughout Yolo County to serve 52,000 people each month and distribute over 4 million pounds of food annually. In addition to ending hunger, Yolo Food Bank is committed to ending malnutrition by increasing access to fresh fruits and vegetables and educating the community on the benefits of eating healthy.
