Since 1970, Yolo Food Bank has been working to end hunger and malnutrition in Yolo County. Yolo Food Bank coordinates the storage and distribution of food from a network of growers, manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and grocery stores, while cultivating new sources of food. Yolo Food Bank collaborates with non-profit programs, private and public sector agencies, and service organizations throughout Yolo County to serve 52,000 people each month and distribute over 4 million pounds of food annually.
