About
Inspired by the delicious Aussie pies whilst on their travels around Australia, founders Jon Simon and Tristan Hogg set up shop in Stokes Croft, Bristol in 2003 and Pieminister was born. The vision was to create a range of pies made with fine ingredients you can see, taste and smell. This vision helped them revolutionise the British pie industry and become Britain's most trusted pie brand. Pieminister has been making pies for 12 years. Made in small batches, in their Bristol kitchens, Pieminister's Classic pies are encased in two unique pastries: an all butter pastry base and suet lid top. Pieminister's range includes the Classics - Moo a British beef steak & craft ale pie. Free Ranger a free range British chicken & ham hock pie, with leek & thyme and Vegetarian Society Approved pies including the Heidi Pie (Somerset Goats cheese, sweet potato, spinach and red onion) Wild Shroom (A wild mushroom, asparagus, white wine and cream pie) and the Saag Pie-Neer Pie (pea, paneer, spinach, potato, chilli & mango). Pieminister uses seasonal, local ingredients where ever possible and regular seasonal specials are available throughout the year. Pieminister is the UK's only National pie company to use 100% free range British meat in its products and holds three Compassion in World Farming's Awards awarded to companies who show a commitment to high farm animal welfare. To get your hands on Pieminister's multi-award-winning pies head to one of their restaurants or pie pubs, located across the UK. Pieminister also sells its wares at farmers markets in Bristol and London, including a permanent pie and mash stall at London's world famous Borough Market.
