With more than 40 partner agencies, the Heart of Illinois United Way funds more than 80 education, income and health programs annually. As the Heart of Illinois United Way is the largest non-governmental funder of health and human care programs in central Illinois, our United Way serves Peoria, Tazewell, Woodford, Marshall, Stark and Putnam counties.
In addition, the Heart of Illinois United Way provides three initiatives to central Illinois ... Success By 6 (early childhood education), Supporting Student Success (social-emotional support within area schools) and, along with Advanced Medical Transport, the Heart of Illinois 2-1-1 information and referral service.
Collectively, Heart of Illinois United Way initiatives and funded programs help more than 100,000 people each year.
