About
Our vision: A society in which vulnerable people have the opportunity to live fulfilled, healthy and constructive lives. Our mission: To support third sector organisations and social enterprises with their aims and objectives and provide back office support, quality standards and guidance. The Social Interest Group has been developed by Penrose Options, in a move to build organisational strength and increase development opportunities. The Social Interest Group (registered in England No. 9122052; Charity Commission No. 1158402) has been developed to enrich opportunities for people facing social and health challenges. The Social Interest Group's first members provide services in London and the South East. Its members are provider of social care services. It brings together organisations with similar missions and complementary services, offering greater strength to all subsidiaries. The founder members of the Social Interest Group are Penrose Options, Equinox Care and Penrose Works Ltd. These organisations provide support, care and accommodation to people with a range of needs including: mental ill health; history of offending; alcohol and drug dependence; homelessness; and people who have experienced sexual exploitation. Both Penrose Options and Equinox Care had been seeking the best solution for building resilience, whilst ensuring the organisations could retain their uniqueness, including their identity, expertise and service offerings. The ideal solution has been provided by forming and joining the Social Interest Group.
