LATA was founded in Los Alamos, NM in 1976 as an engineering and technical services firm supporting both government and industry. Now serving a worldwide client base, we provide engineering, science, and business solutions that meet our clients' needs in today's challenging business environment. LATA's growth is a result of our commitment to client satisfaction. Most of our work is repeat business for long-term clients, a true measure of customer satisfaction. The core business of the company continues to be engineering for nuclear materials handling and processing facilities. Throughout its history, LATA has consistently diversified its business base. In 1984, we won our first major defense contract to provide reliability engineering for the B-2 bomber program. The company's defense sector business has steadily expanded into key areas of national security importance such as nonproliferation, export control, and weapons stockpile elimination in former Soviet-block countries. Information services have also been part of LATA's business mix since its inception. Today, we provide these services to many sectors of the economy including banking, healthcare, and transportation.
