In every industry there's someone building the future, whether it's technology, architecture, food, cars or space rockets. In clothing it's us. Founded by twin brothers, designers and athletes Nick and Steve Tidball, we use science and technology to create clothing that no-one else can or will – clothes from the future. 2018 represented a milestone in the story of Vollebak, and an important moment in the history of clothing and technology. With the launch of the first ever Graphene Jacket we took our first steps towards our end goal of creating bionic clothing. It sat alongside the release of 100 Year Pants built to withstand fire, nature, water and the rest of this century, and a shirt designed for all 510 million square kilometres on the surface of Earth. Then, at the end of the year, our Solar Charged Jacket won Time Magazine's Best Inventions of 2018, to go with Wired's Gear of the Year and a win at Fast Company's Innovation by Design awards.
