Senior CommUnity Care of Michigan is a PACE program. PACE stands for Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly. This program is for older adults and people 55+ with advanced needs or disabilities. PACE provides all the care and services covered by Medicare and Medicaid, as authorized by the interdisciplinary team, as well as, additional medically-necessary care and services not covered by Medicare and Medicaid. PACE provides coverage for physician visits, medical transportation, check-ups, home care, prescription drugs, hospital visits and rehabilitation/nursing home stays when necessary.
