About
Fairmont Hot Springs Resort offers the Best of Montana, all in one place. Located midway between Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park, Fairmont is easy to get to. Only three miles off of Interstate 90, Exit 211, eight miles from the I-90 and I-15 interchange, Fairmont’s 500 acres are cradled by the Continental Divide. The Resort sits in a valley at the base of the Pintler Wilderness area, which covers 150,000 acres virtually untouched by man. The surrounding area offers hiking, hunting, fishing, rafting, Nordic and Alpine skiing and snowmobiling for the outdoorsman. You will find the area rich in the history of the mining era. Ghost towns, the art deco Washoe Theater, World Museum of Mining and the Montana Tech Mineral Museum can bring to life the days of the past. More recent attractions in the area are the High Altitude Sports Center and Our Lady of the Rockies. Air connections are available from anywhere in the US. Skywest, a Delta connector, flies to Bert Mooney Airport in Butte several times a day from the Salt Lake City Hub. Connections from the West Coast or East can also be arranged on Horizon Airlines. Once in Butte, Fairmont can provide shuttle service to and from the airport for a minimal charge. You may want to arrange for a rental car at the airport so you can explore Southwestern Montana while you are at Fairmont. Interstate 90 provides easy access to Fairmont Hot Springs Resort. Just take Exit 211, between Butte and Anaconda.
