Alien Technology Transfer is an independent public funding advisory specialised in project financing, project management, development of concepts and business models for innovative products. Founded in October 2013, ATT specialties are the EIC Accelerator (SME Instrument) for EU based Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and the SBIR program for US based Small Business Concerns (SBCs). EIC Accelerator is a dedicated grant scheme in Horizon 2020 for the benefit of European SMEs that have identified a new market opportunity and have developed a concept to exploit it through an innovative product or service.
The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program is a highly competitive program that encourages American small businesses to engage in Federal Research/ Research and Development with high potential for commercialisation.
With a success rate nearly 7 times higher than the official success rates, ATT annually raises over ?30 Million on behalf of its clients. We work closely with our clients in order to identify a strategy able to obtain governmental grants and lead the product prototype to the market. We guide the application process and provide comprehensive support with the writing and submission of the grant applications. This includes the drafting and re-writing of a project business plan, identifying the right project partners, dealing with red tape, administrative tasks and project management.
Working across a wide spectrum of technologies and market applications, ATT has developed extensive expertise in establishing and managing complex international technology transfer projects with small and large consortia. ATT supports over 250 clients per year throughout European and US funding proposals and fostering their successful implementation in many technology domains. Our multidisciplinary team is composed by professionals with experience in engineering, business analysis, entrepreneurship, project management and project financing.
