Formally known as AIDS Project New Haven, our vision is a community where everyone has access to high quality, relationship based, holistic care to inspire health and well-being and to empower people at risk of, or impacted by, HIV, substance use, mental illness and related conditions. Our goals are to increase public awareness, promote prevention through educational programs and advocacy, and secure funding for the support services we provide for our clients. AIDS Project New Haven is the oldest AIDS service organization in the state of Connecticut. Formed by a small group of individuals in 1983, it has expanded to provide service throughout the greater New Haven area.
