Since 2007, MCR Pathways has been transforming the lives of young people throughout the country. Our vision is that every care-experienced and disadvantaged young person gets the same education outcomes, career opportunities and life chances as every other young person. Our school-based mentoring programme supports more than 2,000 young people each and every week. Our volunteer mentors spend one hour a week listening to and encouraging a young person and this makes THE difference to their education outcomes, career opportunities. MCR also runs Talent Tasters, bite-sized employment opportunities for young people to experience the world of work and spark their aspirations. MCR?s volunteer mentors come from all walks of life - taxi drivers, nurses, students and CEOs. People of all ages and backgrounds are dedicated to our country's young people. Each person and each relationship makes a huge impact. Mentors help young people overcome their circumstances and realise their full potential.
