DMAX Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, founded by Lee and Laurie Maxwell after the loss of their 18-year-old son to suicide in 2013. Our focus is to to create trusting environments for students to have honest everyday conversations about mental health so they can understand and help each other. To accomplish this we are establishing student-led DMAX Clubs on college campuses, to create an environment for students to get together and have Conversations That Connect. DMAX Clubs are developing leaders who help to change our society’s approach to mental health and wellness in their communities.
