Endeavors, formerly Family Endeavors, launched as a volunteer-led organization in 1969, to meet the needs of the San Antonio community. We have since have grown dramatically, expanding in scope, reach, and geography, serving 16,000 annually.
Today Endeavors is building effective, sustainable social service outposts across the country. Endeavors serves as a model within an evolving behavioral health and social service landscape.
Our name may have changed, but our offering of programs and services that support those struggling with crisis is as robust as ever. Endeavors empowers people whether it be a child, family, or Veteran to build better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Endeavors programs target homelessness, unemployment, child abuse, foster care, disabilities, childcare, education, disasters, independent living, and counseling.
