Turning Point is a non profit organization located in Mt. Clemens, MI that provides critical, emergency and advocacy services to domestic and sexual violence survivor’s 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Annually Turning Point serves over 3,000 individuals, provides emergency shelter for about 500 women and children and answers over 11,000 crisis calls. Turning Point is dedicated to the development of model programs that address the root causes of violence. Through our prevention and advocacy work our objective is to build just communities where these crimes are rare, victims are supported and have access to resources in order to heal, and the abuser is held accountable. Turning Point’s mission is to provide programs and resources that enable victims/survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault to regain control of their lives. A community working together to end violence does make a difference.
