Smalley, Sr. invented and patented a nut-shelling machine in 1930, it was the beginning of Smalley’s entire sanitary-conveying line. The modern designs of today’s sanitary conveying and storage system retain the investment value so important to the customers of the 30’s and 40’s. Today, Smalley Manufacturing is located in a modern, 46,000-square-foot facility on five acres.
